Ted is available for presentation of seminars on a variety of subjects related to the business and craft of writing. His objective is to instill in participants a passion for writing and to help them hone the skills needed to do it well.

Some Seminar Titles:

Right Brain Exercises - Getting Your Creative Juices Flowing - The dreaded blank page. Where do stories come from? Stop, look and Listen!

Which Came First - the Character or the Plot? - Well, which is it? Why? Why not? Who cares? An exploration of how plot and character work together to create a memorable story. Typical plot elements and character archetypes.

Dialogue with Attitude - Writing dialogue that sparkles with wit, innuendo and just the right amount of tension.

Middle Eastern Meditations - How Ted's adventures in the Middle East led to the writing of Sandstorm, and to reflections on the way cultural differences between East and West have led to today's polarized world. Participants will consider the pros and cons of alternate ways to move forward.
